SMS Vote Service

The Vote Service allows you to setup a vote, by defining a multiple choice question with a list of its possible answers. Each vote by an end user is sent in as an SMS message containing the keyword of the answer.

The Vote VAS allows you to organize and run votes or polls via SMS. The participants of the vote can take part with their first SMS message answering the question of the vote, which is published in another medium, such as a newspaper, the radio or TV, a website, a magazine, etc. The service offers the organizer the ability to set a response SMS message, confirming the successful vote of each participant, or conveying any other appropriate message. In addition the organizer is also given the option to automatically notify the participants of the vote results.

Usage Scenario

Vote Services are usually used by radio station or TV shows who regularly set up polls and invite the public to vote. E.g. "Who will be the president of Kenya in the next general elections?"
